POSITIONS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE:
TANK WELDER
Summary: Responsible for performing various day-to-day task required in the field construction of above ground storage tanks, including but not limited to, executing any other general labor tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: Must be able to pass the required weld test (SMAW/FCAW in all positions). Possess the ability to comprehend drawings, written instructions and demonstrate characteristics of strong work ethics, competent and self-motivated.
Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
-Takes direction from foreman
-Assists workers in their performance of assigned duties
-Ensure welding equipment is in proper working conditions
-Ability to read and properly interpret -Engineering construction drawings as it pertains to welding and fabrication
-Participate in daily safety meetings (JHAS) when needed
-Follow all safety rules, recognize and report safety hazards
- Follow welding specifications
- Fitting structural plate
-Assist with hanging iron
-Operate all welding equipment (if qualified)
Additional Requirements
- Works well with others on the crew
-Legally authorized to work in the United States
-Must be able to understand, read and speak English
-Must pass pre-employment safety training, background and drug and alcohol screen. Please be aware that ITS has a comprehensive drug policy, which includes random testing
-Ability to work outside in harsh conditions
-Must obtain a valid Driver's License
-Ability to organize, record and keep track of daily weld maps provided
-Must be willing to work in elevated areas
-Must obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
-Must pass the required weld test given

TANK LABORER

Minimum Requirements / Essential Functions:
-Takes direction from foreman
-Assists workers in their performance of assigned duties
-Participate in daily safety meetings (JHAS) when needed
-Follow all safety rules, recognize and report safety hazards Help fit structural plate
-Assist with hanging iron
-Operate and maintain a hand grinder
-Hole watch responsibilities when required

- Works well with others
-Legally authorized to work in the United States
-Must be able to understand, read and speak English
-Must pass pre-employment safety training, background and drug and alcohol screen.
-Please be aware that ITS has a comprehensive drug policy, which includes random testing
-Ability to work outside in harsh conditions
